EOX Renew redefines the elevator standard

When an elevator goes up empty or down fully loaded, it’s in effect not accelerating, but braking. With older elevators all this braking energy just turns into heat. The regenerative drive of EOX Renew recaptures it to generate power which is fed back into the building grid for other electric consumers to use. This means: When your guests leave after a dinner party, the electricity for the hallway lighting essentially comes from their ride.

All modern elevators have a stand-by mode that switches off components like the cabin lighting when the elevator stands idle. EOX Renew adds the eco-mode: Based on the building’s traffic patterns, acceleration and speed are decreased during off-peak hours. It will happen ever so slightly that most passengers will only take notice through the icon in the cabin display.

All cabin operating panels for EOX Renew come with an integrated 7″ multimedia display that informs and entertains. Besides the particularly readable cabin position and travel direction, it shows the local weather forecast and the latest news headlines. Through TK Elevator’s customer portal it can also be set up to broadcast building-specific messages and up-to-date information.

Calling up the elevator cabin from your smartphone to make sure it is there when you arrive at the landing? With EOX Renew this is a standard-included feature. Residents select their start and target floor in TK Elevator’s AGILE Mobile* app, and the call is immediately transmitted to the elevator. Verification is achieved by GPS location tag and optional QR code confirming the users proximity to the lift.
